Both horses and dogs bring unique joys and companionship to our lives. It’s truly heart-wrenching when you know that your dog hasn´t many days left anymore. The bond we share with our dogs is so deep, and knowing their time is limited can bring a lot of sadness, but it’s also important to cherish every moment and focus on creating lasting memories.
Nanna´s Otto is almost 15 years old. As a puppy he was obedient and docile, "worked like a thought". As an adult dog he has been patient towards all situations, humans and other dogs. He has gently taught manners to younger ones and has been an absolutely perfect dog friend.
Otto meets Nanna´s Tuisku for the first time.

Otto made a fantastic photo model. His peaceful personality and expressive face brought a lot of charm to some jewellery photos. We think that Otto´s natural charisma and wisdom
shines through in this photo:
But there was this one time...
During the photo shoot Otto's nerves failed. He stole the carrots meant for photo props, started acting crazy and making strange expressions. The situation was chaotic and
he was relieved of duty. For almost four years Otto has had his grandson Calle in the family.
It hasn´t always been a pleasure for this old gentleman, Calle is "a wild thing",
but pretty calmly he has survived the ordeals with the young male.
When writing this Otto is still with us.But when the day comes, the greatest act of love is to let go.
Danish–Swedish farmdog is a breed of dog that has its origin in Denmark and southern Sweden, but has become popular all over Scandinavia. It is a native breed which has historically lived on farms in the eastern part of Denmark and southernmost part of Sweden serving as a guard dog, rat catcher and hunting dog. The breed's soft and gentle temperament also makes them excellent companion dogs. There are some indications that the breed originates from the pinscher breeds and the British white hunting terriers.
The breed was on the verge of disappearing due to urbanization, but watchful dog enthusiasts became interested in the breed, and its position has since been established.
The Danish–Swedish Farmdog became a recognized breed in Denmark and Sweden in 1987, internationally by FCI in 2019.
