Some years ago Marja came to us.

"I have a dear friend, an old Finnhorse mare Leija (engl. Kite). She´s too old to be ridden, but we go for long walks together. I know that soon she will be gone, but before that I would love to have a special keepsake made with her tail hair. I want to wear it when going for walks with her, preserve all lovely moments and memories in the ring." Marja wished to have a ring with a horse shoe, but she felt that Artema was too massive for her hands. No problem, this ring was made for her:

The ribbon style in her ring is 'narrow stripe', but there are multiple ribbon styles you can choose for your ring. The end result depends on the colors and tones of your horse´s tail hair. This ring was sent to Greece.

All the nannasalmi rings are hand engraved and there is a reason for that: the rings are convex inside. Convexity makes them comfortable to wear. High edges protect the most valuable part, the tail hair ribbon against hits and abrasion. Ring Solea Ferrea (engl. horse shoe) is 5.8 mm wide, ribbon 3 mm. In silver rings the stone is a Swarovski cubic zirconia, in golden and white golden ones diamonds are used.
